Major Sports Web Site Goes Live with Infuzer, April 1, 2001

WESTPORT, Conn., April 1, 2001 - SportingNews.com, a leading sports news Web site, today announced on board info, a pioneering e-calendaring software company, to provide an innovative Web-based technology allowing sports fans to copy dates and events from the Web straight into their electronic calendars and personal digital assistants (PDAs).

On April 1, 2001, SportingNews.com's readers will be able to click on board info's InfuzerTM icon next to a sporting event to have a season's worth of baseball, draft deadlines, fantasy leagues schedules and other date-related content added instantly to their desktop or portable electronic calendars.

In addition, SportingNews.com will use Infuzer to communicate one-on-one with site visitors about the events they have Infuzed into their calendars. Each Infuzed event carries a memo field that can contain a tailored message from the Web site, ranging from a simple URL link to a relevant page, to a marketing communication. For example, The Sporting News will include links to scoreboard pages, merchandise offerings and fantasy leagues all in the event details, giving users an easy route back to their site, raising brand awareness and boosting e-commerce conversions.

The software also allows Web sites to communicate with Infuzer users via their "Personal Update Page." If an event is changed or postponed, a notification icon flashes and the user has the opportunity to update their calendar through this unique message center, designed for special offers and promotions, or simply for updating an event.

"SportingNews.com is the first sports-oriented Web site in the U.S. to offer its visitors personalized, up-to-date information of the sporting event of their choice right into their personal electronic calendars," said, Jason Kint, Vice President and General Manager of SportingNews.com. "By teaming up with on board info, we will be able to further enhance our position as the premiere source of sports information on the Web, drive repeat visits and improve our communications with sports fans."

"By developing a marketing tool based on date-related content on the Internet, on board info's Infuzer allows Web sites to exploit a valuable piece of real estate--the electronic calendar and personal digital assistant," stated Don Sullivan, President of on board info. "Our goal is to revolutionize the way Web sites interact with their visitors, while streamlining the transfer of information from the Web into users' electronic calendars and PDAs."

To use Infuzer, users download a small client application from any Infuzer-enabled Web site or www.infuzer.com.
